Day 1
Tuesday, March 3, 2009

time has always been passing so quickly, hasn't it?
without realising, it was already time to say goodbye to families and friends.
=(=

there is always a beginning to everything.
this photo was indeed the beginning of our trip, our journey and our experience.
the emotions that most of us felt can't really be seen through this photo though.
but just to give an illustration, it is like the OC curve;
whereby things will actually start out low but as time goes by, it becomes higher and better.
and it will remain there, always.
hahahahaha. (:

clive, hashanah, winson, mei yun.
they are people whom i'll be working with throughout the trip. (:
i hope it will be a fun and exciting time working with them.
new people, new experience.
i guess most things would depend on our ownself on how much
we are willing to adapt to changes around us.
maybe its time for a change of working environment. (:

a beautiful scenery. (:
it was taken just before boarding the plane to Guangzhou Airport.

and finally we've reached Wuhan. (:
it was super cold once we stepped out of the airport.
the coldness was different; it was something that i have never felt before.
if only i could hide myself somewhere warm, i definitely would.
hahahaha.

it took quite some time for me to actually adapt to the temperature.
but it was just too cold; most of us couldn't adapt that fast either.
we'll just have to wait till spring comes. (:

this girl here made me smile. (:
her name is Journey; she is one of the committee member in the Students' Union.
very friendly, helpful and approachable.
and the most wonderful thing is that, she can roughly remember my name.
its really amazing.
hahaha.

but most importantly, i admire them for their hospitality.
they make us feel at home although we are so far away from home. (:
